GamerSeal/ February 4, 2018/ Game Tips, Gaming Guides

When I bought the game, I was a bit skeptical about it since I was investing over 100 euros in one game. After I have played a fair amount of time, I think I can draw a conclusion. Dragon Ball FighterZ is worth it. At least in my honest opinion. Now let’s see some game tips regarding the game at hand.

Base Game Or All In?

Honestly, if you just want the story and nothing else, then you can easily buy the base game with 60 euros and you’re good to go. You don’t lose anything. But if you want to also play online, then the more expensive option might make sense. You get a season pass and some other minor rewards. With the season pass, you will be able to get access to 8 extra characters. And that might be important for people who like to play online.

Newbie Controls

Now this one is very important especially if you don’t have experience with fighting games and especially if you don’t know the keyboard buttons and gamepad controls. For some reason, they don’t give you visual aid with the keyboard. They just show the supposed gamepad button and you just have to guess which keyboard button you’re supposed to press. Honestly, that is my biggest complaint about the game.

So in order to help you visualize the controls better, I’ll make you a list of the basic controls.

Dragon Ball FighterZ Keyboard

I’ll Explain the most important ones:

WASD – for moving of course

Tab – for pausing

J – Special Attack

K – Heavy Attack

U – Light Attack

I – Medium Attack

O – Z Assist (Hold to swap team member or tap to make them help you)

P – Dragon Rush (it’s almost like a grab, you do an automatic combo)

L – Hold For Z Change (you can swap with another team member)

; – Super Dash (basically character flies to enemy)

Final Thoughts

So that’s it for now. There are some tips for the online fighting, but I still have to acquire some experience before having anything to say here. I hope this article was helpful and also game responsibly.
